Student Representative Council

Student Representative Council (SRC)

St. Therese’s values and seeks the input of the children in many ways. One of the formal ways is through the Student Representative Council (SRC) which is comprised of one elected member from every class. Each class spends time discussing the responsibilities of the SRC and identifies qualities needed to fulfil the role. Voting occurs in the first few weeks of the year and one member of each class is elected. The SRC meets on a regular basis to discuss ideas, talk about issues and determine fundraising events and causes. Each member uses the class meetings to report back on issues raised at the SRC meetings and gather information or feedback for future meetings.
